Seifenmeisterei is the realization of an idea: to produce sustainable, purely natural and traditional Swiss soaps.

The idea for Seifenmeisterei came about during the current pandemic. During this time we have all learned how important hand hygiene is and have become all the more used to washing our hands more often and more thoroughly. But there are usually only soaps and other cosmetic products on the market that rely on synthetic, climate-damaging and unsustainable ingredients, production and delivery. In addition, some of these additives are suspected of having a negative effect on health.

I, Timo Bach, the founder and managing director of Seifenmeisterei, grew up in and with nature in a former nursery. I learned early on how much we depend on nature and how worthy of protection it should be for all of us. During the corona pandemic, it became increasingly clear to me that unfortunately there are hardly any natural, tradition-conscious and handmade Swiss quality soaps. From this grew the idea of soap making and just making such soaps yourself.
